Gonna re-do these bad boys...

Figured I'd post these real quick.  For some reason I just don't love 'em like I did last time...maybe these was just not a Deborah Lippmann day...

Sally Hansen Black Out base, then 3 coats of Across the Universe, and topped w/ my always lovely Seche Vite.

Stash Pictures...

Right before Christmas hubby bought me a Rubbermaid tote thing, that is meant for ornaments but it's pretty much a perfect polish bottle height.  I have two pictures for you.  One, this was taken the night he loaded my polishes for me into it...and I wanna say this was the week before Christmas?  Then, the 2nd picture I just took right now.  I have cut myself off until Valentines Day 100%!  The ONLY polish I'm willing to buy is the crackle from the Katy Perry collection.  I DO have my free Zoyas coming, but those are free!!! lol  I have to cut myself off!

                                                            A week before Christmas...

Today!

I will be doing a new mani today, even though I'm in love w/ my rhinestones!  I have more of them so I may re-do that mani at a later date...

More later...

OooOOhh sparkly...

So tonight I didn't want to re-do my Jessie's Girl b/c I just did it this morning...So I added something to it like I said it needed lol.  Now that I'm looking at it, I wish I woulda gotten the next step DOWN in rhinestone size...but a girl I work w/ said "go big or don't do it at all" soooo ehhh...lol

I saw that Sephora is going to release a Glee Polish Line here soon...some cute colors in there!  I like the Slushied. :)

Will you be picking any of these up?  I may go for the mini bottle set to try 'em all.

Tomorrow I'm making a trip to Ulta...again, my plan was NO POLISH til Valentines Day.  Doubtful that will happen tho...I'm gonna TRY not to buy any, but the 20% off coupon plus their specials...**sigh**  I will update you tomorrow with my purchases...errr..my uhhh, what I look at at don't buy b/c I'm a good girl lol

Don't forget to go to Bright Lights, Big Color to register for her giveaway!!!!!

Where can I find a woman like that....

Jessie's Girl...

Today I  have for you Jessie's Girl "Glee".  One, I adore it b/c it looks like Charla and I've wanted Charla for a while...2 it's named Glee!  :)  The color went on amazing as the others of this brand have done for me.  I did two coats...probably should have done 3.  You can still see a bit of VNL.  I'm debating on adding something.  I don't know what though.

Speaking of Charla, I'm still waiting for my Zoya's to arrive from the special they did on Facebook.  I ordered Freja, Gilda, and South Beach Ice.  I don't even remember what they looked like so I'll be suprised when they get here!

Last night I purchased a correction pen from Walmart, Onyx brand.  LOVE it.  I used it today for the first time and it worked great.

One last thing before pictures.  I went through my phone today and found quite a few pictures of my nails.  I'm going to load 'em here...Please be kind, some were before I got better at my clean up lol

Todays Mani first!

Ooooh something else I forgot...apparently my brain is fried on my day off lol.  Last night I did a foil removal of my "Happy Birthday" mani.  It helped SO much!  I suggest you try it for those Lippmann's and other "look amazing but horrible to get off" manis!

This next mani is my moms from New Years Eve.  She NEVER does her nails b/c she works in a warehouse, but also she swears her nails "can't breathe" with polish **insert eyeroll** lol

Next mani is my Christmas one.  This took me a LONG time so I left this one on for 2 days lol

Moving on...I did this sometime in December, saw it on the LOVELY Deez Nails blog and fell in love!

These were for a friends wedding.  I wanted something dark because she did get married in December and then I needed glitter (of course...).

This next one I saw this design on Rina's Site and thought it was super cute!  I did all my nails but this was the best one lol

Next on the list...my first attempt at sponging...again around Christmas as I'm sure you can tell lol

Not too sure what I was going for here...I used Happy Birthday on this one though...

Ok, after looking through these I see what a copy cat I am lol  This design was orignally on The Daily Nail which is where I started to get my cravings from!

This next picture is just straight glitter.  I did this for a friend who ADORES glitter, this one was for you Mandy!

Next up, Halloween nails, I loved these and left them on for 2 days as well!

After seeing it online I had to try to water marble...I loved it.  This was for my Alma Maters BIG game week.

I did Lemons and Limes on this one...and YES I'm in a tanning bed...using my cell phone.  I'd play on Facebook to pass time in there lol

Next!  Again, tanning time...

Ugh, these played out SO much cuter in my head.  Once they were done I thought they looked liked nautical flags, which is SO not what I was going for...

These were a personal favorite...

Ehhh, not really loving these...

These next ones I re-did w/ ALL palm trees at a later date...the glitter was a NIGHTMARE to get off!

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd whew!  That's all of them!  For anyone who is still reading and not sleeping from boredom, thank you!!!

Happy Birthday...

So today, well tomorrow...the 12th of January is hubby's birthday so Happy Birthday to him :)

Today I started w/ 3 coats of Ulta Brand "sun-sational", which applied VERY streaky.  I bought this polish about 2 months ago and have been dying to use it but hubby said it was a summer color.  Well tonight I said forget it, I'm using it.  I needed something w/ it...so I went w/ Deborah Lippmanns "Today Was a Fairytale".  It looked horrible...but I didn't want to re-do everything b/c it's already 1:48 am...so I was trying to think of something to do w/ it.  I thought of Lippmanns Happy Birthday, being it IS his birthday...yellow and multi-glitter goodness!  Yes!

I adore the way Lippmann polish applies.  So smooth, I've never had an issue with it.

I know I promised digital pictures but I can't find my cord to transfer the pictures to my laptop so again I apologize but these are iPhone pictures...Again, base coat, 3 coats of Ulta "Sun-sational", 1 coat of Lippmann "Today was a Fairytale, 2 coats of Lippmann "Happy Birthday", and of course....my Seche Vite top coat.

So out of curiosity, how many polishes do you have?  I'm nearing 100.  I am at...*checks her excel spreadsheet of polishes...*  96 right now.  I have 6 Zoya's coming in the mail here soon I hope so that will push me over the 100 limit.  I'm TRYING to not by polish til after Valentines day...We'll see how that goes, considering I'm going to be making a trip to Ulta in 3 days lol

Hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday and anyone who is sick feels better...including hubby...xoxo

Irked

So a few nights ago I picked up a lemming of mine, Mystic Lilac by SH.  Love the color.  The brush in this bottle was HORRIBLE.  I know it's a goof up b/c I have a TON of these colors and this had to be a fluke, but the thing is horrid.  It's all....wonky.  Bent bristles galore.  It made for a pain to put on, but I do love the color.  I'm going to start taking pictures w/ my good digital camera from now on b/c the iPhone pictures aren't too great and I'm hoping I can get the colors to come through better as well for you guys :)  Went to WalMart tonight and came home w/ NO polish, so proud of myself lol.  I saw atleast 3 bottles I coulda got, plus the new SH appliques that were SO cute...I behaved myself tho...but I AM making a trip to Ulta on Friday...hmmmm ;)

Below is base coat, 2 coats of SH Mystic Lilac and a coat of Seche Vite.

Quick post before I pass out from exhaustion

So I've been super sick the past few days...Apparently there is a "funk" going around that everyone and their brother is getting and passing on to someone else at work.  Ugh.  I didn't do my nails last night but I did do them super quick before bed tonight.  Felt strange to go 2 days with the same polish lol.

Tonights mani is done w/ a base coat, 3 coats Pure Ice "Kiss Me Here", Konad White special polish, Konad plate M57, followed by a coat of E.L.F. "Twinkle", and of course a coat of Seche Vite.

Hope you like..and please excuse my horribly dry cuticles...wow.

So last night I went to Walgreens and Rite Aid.  I managed to pick up 11 bottles alone last night, BUT...I only spent $17.00 on all of them!
Walgreens had a bunch of Borghese on sale, as well as Wet and Wild for dirt cheap.  I spent $8.71 on 6 bottles total.  One Borghese, which I got Stellare Notte for $2.19.  This is a really pretty purple, blue, silver...beautiful mess of colors!  I got 5 Wet and Wilds, 4 of them were $1.09 and the one was $.50.  I picked up Goldmine, Shield, Jade, Nocturnal and Lust.

As I was on my way home in the mess that is known as an Ohio winter...I stopped off at Rite Aid as well.  I managed to pick up 4 bottles of Jessie's Girl polish and a lemming of mine Sally Hansen's Mystic Lilac.  The Jessie's Girls were only $1.99 a piece and the Sallys was $1.50 on sale.

I just did my nails this evening with Jessie's Girl "Beach Baby".  After first applying it I thought it needed...something...and my "something" usually consists of glitter lol.  I did 4 coats of Beach Baby just to make sure there was no VNL and then one coat of China Glaze "Pom Pom".  I followed up with a coat of Seche Vite as well.

The Jessie's Girl applied fine for me.  It was a little streaky but nothing horrible.  After staring at it for about an hour I decided it needed yet again, something else...  This I copied straight from my first follower Erika, from Chloe's Nails Yaaaaa!  Her "shredded" mani was something I've been wanting to try and this seemed like the perfect time to go for it :)

Now, I'm going to try and post some pictures...let's see how they come out.  I have some from my iPhone and some from my camera...I'm not all snazzy and set up with a photo box or anything so my backgrounds will change lol.

These were both taken with my iPhone, and seemed to turn out ok :)

Now that I've made my first post with pictures (yaaaaaaaa!!!!!) I'm gonna go and browse all the new posts on the blogs I stalk.  Have a great night all and enjoy your weekend!

New Blog

Hi all!  I decided after stalking so many blogs on here that I'd make my own.  My name is Erin and I'm 28 years old.  I live in North Canton OH with my husband and our "farm".  We have 3 cats, 2 dogs and 3 turtles.  I work for Time Warner Cable and seem to spend a little of each check on nail polish!  I used to bite my nails until I was about 23 and my husband made a comment about how I never had nice looking nails...soooo because I'm stubborn, I stopped THAT day and never bit them again!  So HA hubby...

I think it was about a year ago that my "severe like" for polish really started.  A few girls at work had these cute little bottles of Sally Hansen Extreme wear in all sorts of colors...So I bought some that weekend and fell in love.  I am now at over 100 polishes and over 26 brands.  I really thought that was bad but after reading some of YOUR blogs, I realize it's not too bad yet! lol

I'm hoping to post pictures of my nails as I do them.  I just recently started with Konad and am still learning.  Because I don't have a picture to post tonight, I'm going to post some questions I saw on line...

1. Have you ever felt so disapointed in a nail polish you wanted to throw it out the window? And why?

I can't say I have, but I do know when I bought Zoya Shawn, I was really shocked at how....dark it was.  I kept it, and continue to use it, but usually layering or something.

2. What are your top three favorite nail polishes?
Only 3? lol  Wow, lemme think, as I sit here and stare into my stash...D. Lippmann "Across the Universe", Hard Candy "Sky", and....my cheap true love Sally Hansen "White On" that I use for a TON of things.

3. What is your favorite online store?

I haven't bought a ton online, I like to see stuff in person, but Ulta.com I adore, and I LOVE my Sephora app on my iPhone.

4. Is there anything you'd like to share with us that you haven't shared before?

Hmm, considering I just started this...lol.  I just purchased 11 bottles of polish tonight which triggered my starting this blog!

5. What is your favorite song of the moment?

Ooooh,  I've been belting out "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry.

That's all for tonight and tomorrow I will post my first picture!
